Great Leaps Reading tutoring is one of the few approved tutoring companies that you can apply your Step Up for Students scholarship towards but the details can feel confusing at first. STEP 1: Sign up for your account on the Great Leaps Tutoring platform here and book a Free Reading Screening with one of our Step Up Approved tutors: Lonnie Phillips, Sandy Green, Carly Baluarte, Carrie Parrick, or Theresa Sharp. If they do not have times available that you need, email kayla@greatleaps.com for support.
- This initial appointment is to ensure your child is appropriate for our reading instruction and to allow you to meet the tutor and learn more about how we can help.
STEP 2: Purchase Great Leaps Tutoring from the Scholarship Portal. First login and from the marketplace click "Find Providers".
Once there, select your student, type Diarmuid into the search bar to find our corporation then click Great Leaps Tutoring.
Then select our location from the dropdown and add one of our tutoring offerings to your cart.
We strongly recommend purchasing 20 sessions for 5 days per week of instruction for the fastest growth with struggling readers. It is also cheaper per session to purchase for 5 days per week. If you purchase 3 months of session at a time, you can save 10%! We also offer tutoring for basic math!
